The Irmer Asset Holdings, LLC has been created to acquire and manage commercial assets throughout the United States. Currently, the company holds assets greater than $80,000,000 and continues its acquisition of well-placed and tenanted properties.
The Innisfree Companies and related companies, founded and led by David C. Irmer in 1961, have transitioned from a commercial and residential real estate developer to a privately held commercial real estate investor with holdings across the United States.

David C. Irmer
President, Founder, and Owner
David C. Irmer serves as the president and founder of The Innisfree Companies, a privately held commercial real estate investment firm located in Sausalito, CA. With over 60 years of industry experience, he has successfully revitalized both urban and suburban commercial and residential properties, consistently driving growth and profitability.
Throughout his distinguished career in real estate, Mr. Irmer has overseen all facets of development, including acquisition, financing, and construction management. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami and attended Menlo College. He is now serving his 15th year as a member of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Irmer was awarded a Doctorate of Humane Letters in 2020.
Mr. Irmer is an active participant in several professional organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the California Redevelopment Association. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Menlo College and resides in Tiburon, CA.
Martha Cardon Irmer
Vice President
Martha Cardon Irmer, vice president, has been in the real estate development business since 1971. In addition to Innisfree, Martha worked in development at LTT Properties, a subsidiary of Hyatt Corporation, Pacific Union Company, and Heritage Properties. Martha’s projects have ranged from recreational properties to condominiums, condominium conversions, and commercial management. She has also had a wide range of responsibilities in development and marketing.
In addition to her accomplishments as a commercial and residential property developer, Martha is a gifted photographer and avid horsewoman. She has served on the Vestry at St. Stephen’s Church in Belvedere, California and has been active in the California Dressage Society. She graduated from Cornell University with a major in Government and spent five years as a legislative assistant for two members of the United States House of Representatives. She is married, with a large extended family, and resides in Tiburon, CA.
